The joy of harvesting and the experience of one crop cycle

Everyday we are getting one or other vegetables from our garden now. Such a lovely feeling to harvest ❀️

Children have seen one complete crop cycle and now they know that food does not come instantly but takes a lot of patience and effort.

A very interesting observation by Paripoornam πŸŒ•πŸͺ·β˜€οΈ Pedagogy team

Children experienced one full crop cycle before the midterm is over and we observed the reverence to food came to them naturally.

Even the food which they used to spill outside their plates reduced and they became very mindful.

All these happened without saying a word. No teaching is done. Just pure exposure to one crop cycle.

The families who joined Paripoornam πŸŒ•πŸͺ·β˜€οΈ who were purely lived in urban space have learnt a great deal of natural farming and now awakened to the facts. For the first time they experienced what real food actually tastes like.

The confidence of children is built with challenges. But the challenge should be from small to big. If you challenge a child with an impossible task then it will shatter the child’s confidence.
