Nature visit to Obuleshwara mountain near Chinthaparthi

From Paripoornam pedagogy:

The confidence of children is built with challenges. But the challenge should be from small to big. If you challenge a child with an impossible task then it will shatter the child’s confidence.

Note: These children have been taken to different hills and mountains every Saturday. We started with small and slowly built it up.

Waldorf philosophy concept behind this activity:
Mountain climbing like this involves a sense of movement and sense of balance. Which Rudalf Steiner calls it as lower senses.

Movement is linked to speech and linguistic skills and a sense of balance is important for hearing and listening skills.

Stole a few groundnuts from the neighboring farm

Maybe stolen food tastes better because of the trill associated with it. Caught these thieves’ red handed. What’s the punishment for them‼️😅?

Did you know that children should learn to steal as well 😉. Oh, now some people will definitely criticize me for this statement 😅. We are not raising obedient children who follow everything like sheep🐑 but the children who question and find answers.
