Edible Cactus 🌵 leaves!!

In a community of diversity the learning happens all the time. A parent in our community made chutney from cactus leaves. Children of Paripoornam 🌕🪷☀️ learnt that it’s edible and here they having Cactus 🌵 leaves party.

Besides growing up in a village, this is the first time I learnt that a few types of cactus leaves are edible. I had eaten cactus fruit which tastes like a dragon fruit but has lots of seeds but the first time I tasted the cactus leaves. Thanks to children’s observation and learning.
